just rinse it out and wipe it down. I don't know how safe oxyclean is. If you must do a bang up job on it, use a little bit of vinegar, that will work well. Just try not to clean the neck TOO well because for the skimmer to work properly it needs a little scum on there. Otherwise, the skimmer has to break in again.

I use hot water and a clean sponge. No chemicals. If the cup really stinks even after rinsing, I'd use some bleach on it. But then you have to really rinse it well several times with RO/DI water to get rid of the chlorine. Personally I've never had to do that - hot water and a sponge do an adequate job.

I use hot water and my finger to smear off the caked up gunk but other than that, i leave it be.

+1 on my fingers and warm water, I wouldn't clean it with anything else.

if you clean the inside to good your skimmer will have to break in again. I just rinse the inside with water and put it back on

I have a toothbrush just for this reason.. Hot water and a little scrub is all it needs.. Oh, and put something on the toothbrush to mark it as not teeth safe.. I wrapped it good with electrical tape so its not to be mistaken..
