I am going to be moving my tank of 1 year in the near future and have about 100 lbs of rock in it....The rock has a little coralline on it but the majority of it has bad algae thoroughly grown on the rock, which I think is inhibiting the coralline from spreading..I dont want to nuke the rock...And was wondering how should I clean and how should I store it for a couple days during the move???...Also if i scrape and srub the rock will this cause a small cycle once placed back in the tank???
    thanks

you could put a lawnmower blenny in with it for a few days,or a sea hare.usually coraline will grow right back if something happens temperarily to it,but airs not good for it
