My cleaner shrimp has been acting like it is cleaning my elegance coral. The coral doesn't seem to like it because it withdraws back into the shell when being cleaned. Normally within 15 minutes to a half hour the coral is back out fully and looking great.

Has anyone else had this happen and do you think a cleaner would actually clean a coral?

This is what it looks like when happy.

It's just looking for food. Mine steals food from my hammer & brain all the time.

Sounds like it's searching for food.

Keep your eye on the shrimp right after feeding time, that is when mine pounces on the rics. Beautiful Elegance.

I had to get rid of my shrimp because they harassed some of my LPS enough looking for food that they stopped expanding. Definitely keep an eye on it.
