What would you recommend to clean a tank that had fresh water?
I don't beleave I used any copper products in the tank it is only 3 months old
All products other than my main tank is brand new. Just want to give my
Salt water tank to have a higher chance of successful

I just used tap water to clean out my freshwater tank. Then, I wiped it all out with rodi water really well. I had no problems. Fw tanks have filtered water in them, and the salt would kill most anything fw except chemicals like metal and you said that wasn't an issue. I even used the same eclipse filter system on the sw (with a new filter of course) for awhile. Just be very patient with cycling!

water, vinegar and elbow grease works best! If ya wanna sanitize, ya can use some bleach then fill it with water and add some dechlorinator to it to be safe, then rinse with RODI!

LG reminded me. razor blades too.

Vinegar is good. I myself stay away from bleach, lime away or ANY chemicals. Too much of a risk for me. The saltwater will kill all freshwater issues that I know of. Just rinse and wipe really well! Like the others said, elbow grease and razor blades if you need them but I have found fw tanks don't get the buildup sw's do.
