So my tank has been set up for about 6 months and my rock just looks kinda blah, a serious of diatom blooms and a small amount of algae has resulted in not so good lookin rock. My question is can I make a tub of saltwater and take out te rock and scrub it with a toothbrush? Or is this a bad idea?

If your going to use a brush to clean your rock, definitely do it OUTSIDE the tank.
