How do you guys clean your sump socks? I want to clean a few and I was going to power wash the debris out of them and soak them in some hot water in the sun. I think I read a few places that you can bleach them and just thoroughly rinse them and let them try but I'm afraid to do that.

Washing machine with basic bleach (no scents, no other additives). Rinse twice and then let dry. Never once had a problem.

That sounds easy enough to me, thanks Inwall.

I havfe never used them. I just let the stuff settle in my sump and shop vac it out. Much easier that way.

I wash mine out in the kitchen sink. Turn them inside out, rinse real good in hot water. Fill the sink with hot water and bleach and soak overnight. Then drain, rinse with alot of plain hot water and they're good to go.

pretty much what inwall said. when i used socks i did the same thing. put just a little bleach in the fist cycle then i put the sock through 2 more cycles with NO bleach/detergent. after that i would put it in a bucket of hot water for a day and then let dry for another day.. never any issues at all. i stopped using socks altogether b/c i felt the sock was catching pods,ect.. and some food for my fuge.

Washer + bleach, then a bucket of RODI with declorinator added, then hang to dry. I have about 16 socks that I have been using for 2 years now, works great
