clear jelly things floating around

    Have seen these a few times, I think they either anchor some place behind a rock or get drawn into the overflow box. Any ideas? Could they be jelly fish?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I think it is the remains of a green bubble algae.:)

    I'd be pretty surprised since I don't have any bubble algae. Also some of them have been opened, sort of looking like a polyp of some kind.

    I would say Hydroid jellyfish, but it's really hard to tell from the pics. They look more like smooth bubbles in the pics.

    sushigirl, that is pretty close to what they look like. I see them once in a while. I also saw one in the mouth of a mushroom.

    Looks like the "clearish" bubble algae that I see sometimes floating around my tank.
