Clear Mesh Jump Stopper

    There have actually been par tests done that confirm that the clear mesh doesn't block any Par from the lights. I think there is a thread on it on a site called Captive reefs. They may also have links on BRS where you buy the mesh.

    I have this over my 150. I have a huge one over the front that ends at where the overflow sticks out. Then I have 2 small ones on either side of my over flow. There some other fun and interesting ways to use the mesh cause you will have some left over.

    great write-up! I did the same thing on my 125 gallon. I used the brown screen frames though. I see you also made your own lid for your overflow box same as I did. lol The dang lid that came with it was too fat! don't forget you can also make your own nori feeder with the left over netting :)

    I used white because that is all Wal-Mart carries and I was there. Had plans to go to Lowes after groceries but since the tank actually has a hood I figured the white wouldn't show and saved a trip. :)

    Actually the entire over flow box is DIY.

    Awesome write up, on my way to Lowes now, have 2 divers den wrasse coming tuesday and I'd kill myself if i let one of those suckers jump. Gonna have to mod a bit for my tank, but looks easy enough

    great write up! ill be doing one of these for my biocube hopefully. i need to figure out how to accommodate the bow.
