Pistol and Mantis shrimp are famous for clicking noises. How long has your tank been set up and have you added any new live rock lately?

One click with pauses in between would indicate a pistol. 2-3 successive clicks with shorter pauses in between would indicate a mantis.

Unless you are extremely attached to your hermits and snails, I don't see any reason to get rid of the mantis but if you really want to, you can try either a pre-made trap or a DIY inverted bottle trap.

well, I tried trapping it. But had no success. I caught it later with a freshwater dip of the rocks. I only had very few rock then. But it's still clicking ;)
But mine was a little pistol shrimp and I killed it in the efford of catching it :/
Well, now I just let it be.

This may or may not be of help but I have a Custom sealife light with the same bulbs set up that you have, It has an aluminum housing and I have noticed a clicking sound shortly after it first turns on and shortly after is shuts off from the heating and cooling ( I Assume ) it sounds just like something tapping on the glass of the tank it is kind of loud. Just thought I'd mention it...................... John
