    Clonefarmer,

Have you noticed that red macro you have turning aggressive at all? I have the same one (or one very similar to it) that i got on FL rock and it actually took over one of my tanks to the point where i needed to take all my rocks out and bake them in the sun.

Might be something to keep an eye on, in my tank if any pieces broke off they started growing from where ever they landed. (my koralias are now big red bushes) Your tank looks great so far, keep it up!

    Your welcome.

They can be a handful although you can run them low tech or have them fairly automated now. The hardest thing was keeping it from looking like a jungle. The tall plants tend to drop the bottom leaves so they need to be cut and replanted. The shorter plants with runners tend to overgrow the lower portion. It's a constant battle to get the tank looking perfect.

As for the inwall maybe someday far, far in the future :D

It is very invasive and I've been removing it frequently. It grows all over my Koralias, too.

Here is a pick of the Red Menace mixed in with some Halimeda.

    Thank you!

That Urchin has grown allot and at a really fast pace. When it hitchhiked in it was only the size of a pea.

Here is a pic of the urchin when I first noticed it.

Wow. Thats crazy. I had noo idea they grew that fast. So I saw you made the change from the extra daylight bulb to the purple plus.. Exactly what I have! I love the color of the ATI bulbs. The difference they made in my tank is unreal. You may have said this somewheree on here, but how long has your tank been up and running?

I really like the two Blue+ with one Aquablue special, but the Purple+ isn't as good as I thought it would be. I may try the KZ Fiji Purple instead.

I started the tank on 11/24/2010.

    More pics :)

I moved the Orange Monti from the skimmer overflow. It was blocking flow and growing a small spot of algae on it's edge.

I placed the Paly frag in the Monti's place. It should allow more flow. I hope it's not too much light for the Palys.

I shortened the light cycle and the Macro algae seem to be growing well and have much better coloration.

SPS and Softies seem to do well so far.

    It's like a DT/Refugium combo. Kinda cool.
