The tank has been set up for a little more than 4 weeks. The CUC has taken care of most of the GHA. There is quite a bit of Red Cyano on the sand bed now. I'm planning on getting phosphate remover and Nassarius snails to combat the Red Cyano and clean up the sand. There is some Coraline algae growing on the back glass :).

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Tank looks great. What kind of fish are you thinking of adding ?

Something that compliements the LR coloration and does not destroy all the wonderful hitch-hikers you recieved would be ideal but none really come to mind for me.

watch your switch carefully, those little ones have a habit of breaking in the on position when running directly from the wall.

I have a set up with those types too. I have two switches on mine a main one and a emergency shut off.

My first choice would be Synchiropus Splendidus. From what I've read my setup is probably too small to support one though.

I also like the Six Line Wrasse, but I'm afraid it will decimate the small beneficial hitchhikers.

Other fish that don't seem to have any major drawbacks:
Yellow Clown Goby, I read this is a reef safe fish, but I also see reports of them nipping coral?
    Clownfish, Single or a pair.
    Neon Goby
    Firefish
    Royal Gramma
Lawnmower Blenny, I've read these can accept prepared algae substitutes, but also some reports of them not eating.

How is the emergency shut off hooked up? I ordered two in case one broke. I wouldn't mind using the spare for a shut off.

Here are the instructions but I have extra components specifically the relay.

    http://www.aquahub.com/store/media/TopitOffKitPremiumInstruxCompDec07.pdf

I got the relay from aquahub.com , it steps the power down going through the switches to prolong their life.
