    So that lovely red macro was on the other side right?

    It sure is pretty, and does not look like cotton candy algae not that it has grown.

    That red macro was on the other side. It started to fall apart so I trimmed it. Fortunately a few more sprouts of red macro have really grown in.

    Great start on the tank. Just curious, what the purpose of the 2 larger sized powerheads/pumps on the right top of the tank?

    The gray pump and gray box are the pump and return box for the hang on back skimmer. The small black pump is a koralia 425, for flow. The plastic bottle is a snail guard on the ATO float switch.

    I don't have a sump so everything is set up in the DT.
