closed loop circulation

    I was thinkin about using a closed loop on my upcoming 180-190 gal reef tank...i just wanted to hear some opinions about closed loops from people who have used them or have a deep knowledge of the cl.8)

    they are great! I like the look compared to powerheads! also another + is that there isnt really a chance of zapping your tank cause there is no power heads in the tank... get it? loL!

    thanx, the loop i am going to install should get rid of any potential dead spots

    if you are going to all that trouble then you'd be ahead of the game going with a ocean motion to get a full true oscillating current and gain full benefits and not just blasting a single spot that will kill the corals

    I agree on the ocean motions the problem is their a bit expensive but hey youre setting up a 180+ most things are going to expensive.
