Closing off an open top?

What should I use to cover the cube? I would like it to be open top, but I have a goby to keep off the carpet.

 

I vote for the netting. Won't block light (too much), will allow for oxygen exchange and keep the goby in

 

+1 on the netting. Buy some bird netting from a home improvement or nursery.

 

What size/type netting do you recommend and where can I find it?

Wow, that is a great cover! I'm not sure how I would set it up because my tank is rimless. Perhaps small brackets of some kind?
