    you should take the ceiling fan out of the tank... it can mix things up. ;)

    I wouldn't worry too much. I have had an freak algae bloom that lasted 24-27 hours. See how it looks tomorrow.

    do you think it will be ok to put the snails that i have coming friday in the tank?

    snails survived that extinction of the dinosaurs. If there are no harsh chemicals, toxins, or diseases in your tank I think they will be ok.

    That said, I have never been able to keep a snail alive for more than a month.

    just curious, why are you starting with snails? It's an interesting approach. I use them only to wipe out algae and other waste.

    accually i thought i had some chromis ordered which i got an awesome deal for them at $0.99 each but didnt complete the order so after i assumed i ordered them i went to reef cleaners and ordered the snails. i had asked before on here what everyone suggested as to if i needed to add a cuc before fish or after or same time. everyone said before or same time so that was my original plan. so tomorrow i will be ordering fish. pay day.
