Cloudy water from not rinsing sand well

    Problem Solved

    I bought an Aquaclear 70, filled it with filter floss and Chemipure Elite. 48 hours later and I have totally clear water.

    I think my media reactor was not adjusted properly and the Seachem Seagel was being ground up and causing problems. I also think that using one side of the overflow chambers for a skimmer instead of a media basket really limits mechanical filtration.
