I am just starting my set up and decided to mix my water in the tank and then add sand and rock. I added the salt last night to my freshly made ro water and mixed it up and then let it circulate with 2 power heads all day and the water is cloudy. it's been about 24 hours. Is this normal..should I just give it a little more time?

Instant ocean. You can actually see through the tank but when you look end to end there is a white-ish haze to it. Is that just the way the salt water is? Sorry if this is a dumb question:-[

No...it should be crystal clear....make sure its REALLY getting stirred...may have to add a pump....i use a mag 5 and a off brand pump that moves about 400gph to mix 20G worth of water in a rubbermaid...so it may just not be getting aggitated enough

I currently have a koralia 1050 on each end of the tank. It's a 125, so it's 6 feet long. I have a mag3 for my skimmer. Maybe I should stick that in too?

if you can disconnect it easily from the skimmer...it couldnt hurt...just blow it across the bottom

No there is only water in the tank at the moment. My ro unit makes water kind of slowly so I figured I would fill it 3/4 of the way, mix the salt, add sand, then add rock and top off as needed.

It's prob fine, just needs more time to fully dissolve.
Since it's only 3/4 way full, did you add the amount of salt you need for a full tank and it's more concentrated at the moment as well?

No, I took measurements and used a tank calculator and figured out there was 73 gallons in it and used the appropriate amount for that.
