Cloudy water?

    So now I have my mag3 and two koralia 1050's going. Hopefully that helps

    Did you rinse the sand before you added it?

    There's no sand in there yet, just water. My plan was to mix the water, then add sand and rock but I haven't gotten that far yet due to the cloudy water:-/

    Did you make sure to clean the tank thoroughly before adding the water?

    Yes it was clean and had fresh ro water in it for a few days being circulated by the koralias, clouded up after adding the salt

    All cleared up! Thanks for your help guys. I ran the 3 pumps and also ran my cannister filter with some filter floss in it, not sure which thing did the trick, but it's all good now;D

    I was going to bet that it would be clear today once that other pump got going...it just wasnt being stirred enough :)

    Word of advice on this subject...add the sand with a PVC tube and a funnel...direct it to the bottom of the tank evenly and slowly to try to combat the "cloud" effect :) it wont stop it completely, but it will sure be better than dumping bags! :)
