    no I do not. Never got interested in them because they kkill the good stuff too. Correct?

    Most of the time, they don't kill anything, good or bad.

    If carbon works then using a water clarifier will also speed up the process. Usually 2 doses of that stuff over 48 hours works wonder. Used it when I first put my sand down to clear it up, and by doing so, a carbon filter picks up a lot more particles than when I left it alone with just the carbon.
