Run a skimmer or some type of filter & give it time.

I added six bags of sand and it took about a week or so for it to finally come clear. But it will. It just took some time. I thought at first I was doing something wrong, but your good. Just sit and wait....

if you don't want to wait just put on a hang on back filter. Any mechanical filter should clear up the tank. If you aren't in a hurry i would just wait for it to settle.

I used water clarifier. It works the best for clearing up a sandy tank but it MUST be used with a Carbon / media filter as well. A 45g rated HOB filter cleaned my 90g tank with some water clarifier within a day (after I waited 2 days of doing nothing lol).

    Here's a product link:

Did you buy the type of live sand that has a gel to help relocate the bacteria? There is a possibility that you have a bacteria bloom b/c you don't have enough surface area for all of the bacteria to colonize on.

I personally recommend not using live sand. Get regular sand and rinse it before adding it to your tank. Get a bucket, put some sand in it and fill it with water. Wait a few minutes for the sand to settle and then you will be able to slowly dump the cloudy water out. Continue doing that until the water in the bucket is no longer cloudy and then repeat the process until all your sand is cleaned. If you do that it will remove all the "dust" which causes the water to get cloudy.
