My newborn ocellaris went missing today. He was fine around 9am, but i just got home and he's nowhere to be found. I feel like odds are he died. Ive only had him for a week, but he looked very healthy the whole time. Should I start the search and rescue right away?

Is it possible he's just hiding? I know my wrasse dissappears between 8pm and 9am (i guess he sleeps in the rocks).

not a fry, probably 3/4s of an inch. I dont think the wrasse is the culprit. I just checked the entire tank by removing all 20lbs of rock (its a nano 12gallon) and alas, no clown. Not in the filter either.

What kind of clean up crew do you have? Maybe he has been eaten?

Perhaps, many fish die and a proper clean up crew could devour the fish within minutes :-/
