i found with my clowns <tank bred> that when they get there "stink" on something they hang around it, mine at first wouldnt touch an anenomie prolly cos they had no idea what it was but i placed them in a margarine container with the aneneomie at night with an air stone with water so they had no choice but to get there "stink" on the anenomie, i left them in the container for about half hour in total darkness ,when i released them into the tank they stuck with the anenomie day in day out.

just a sugestion if u really want to get them into yer new anenomie

Unfortunately, you can never tell, but not every clown fish will host any kind of anemone!

its not a stink really but i just noticed when clowns hang around something they end up almost stuck to it as if theyd marked there territory ive done this trick with rocks in the margarine container trick with the clowns and they stuck to it like poop to a blanket

<or course if only ever used tank bread clowns too>

clowns from the wild might actually know the difference lol

Just be careful 1023 and anyone else that wants to try this. Clowns are susceptible to anemone stings.
