I bought a pair of tank raised percula clowns a couple days ago and i have 2 questions.

1 - One of them doesnt have the 3 white lines on his side, he only has 1 1/2, the guy at LFS told me that its cause he is still a juvenile and they will grow??? true???

2 - That same 1 1/2 line clown is looking more and more like he is aiming for my torch coral for a new home... I know some clowns will host a coke bottle if they could but do any of you could see this happening, and would it be ok for the torch coral, or would it irritate the heck out of it?

    2. probably not going to be a problem. The only thing you might worry about is how rough the clown is, but since its a juvenile, that is probably not a problem. However, some mature clowns can actually injure their immature host by their aggressive diving and "shimmying." Just watch, enjoy and have the moment to moment awareness of what is happening. Nature is a most fascinating megacosm to enjoy.
