clown and worms

    is it possible to feed a clown meal worms? i hae a gecko that i feed meal worms so i was just thinking about it. thanks

    I don't see any reason why not but i would run them under water first and cut there head off so it can't hurt the clown. How big is your clown ? You might have to cut them up small and the clown might not even like it because of the worms hard shell.

    I find the best food for clowns are mysis shrimp,Cycop-eze and vary small cut up nori.

    Clowns can be pretty voracious, I think if the mealworm is cut up small enough and is soaked well they might eat it. Mealworms aren't native to clownfish environments though so chances are they'd benefit more from something like flake food or mysis shrimp.

    like said above since they are not in there normal enviorment so they will probaly cause liver faiuler in the long run

    oh i already feed them mysis and flakes lol just thought to vary it even more? but ok the liver failure thing is scary :eek: so im gonna say not worth it
