Clown attempting to host Goniopora???

    Mine did also. I had to return the coral back to the LFS. It's a shame, great looking coral! My clown also tried hosting with my frogspawn too!

    i say leave him cause he will just try to feed it. i dont think it would hurt the coral.

    Clowns hosting a goniopora will kill it.

    Why don't you cover goniopora with bottle with holes? If the clown couldn't get to it after a while, it will move on to the next coral.

    hmm that sounds like a good idea. not aesthetically pleasing to begin with, but it just may work

    I've never experienced it but have read that sometimes the irritation will eventually kill the coral the clowns want to be hosted in. I don't know what you could do other than move the coral or relocate the clowns. My pair use a coral branch skelly has host. Hope it works out for the best!

    I returned the Goniopora and exchanged it for an Acan.

    Didn't want to risk killing it.
