Clown attempting to host Goniopora???

I wish I could get my clowns to host something!! Anything!! All the want to do is host the back wall of my tank. LOL!

 

I have to applaud you (+K) for making the unselfish & responsible decision to return the coral no matter how much you probably liked it. It certainly looked like a beautiful piece in the pics. Keeping the coral and fish's best interests above your own in a case like this definitely shows what a conscientious reefer you are.

Mine host my heater which annoys me to no end. I keep hoping that someday in my future I will put something in the tank that they will take new interest in (without hurting them or the coral).

In the meantime, show off that new coral you got when you returned the gonipora.

 

I have a BTA and frogwpawn and my clown seem to be hosting a mushroom instead...go figure!

 

K+ for doing the right thing. I didn't want to return mine either, it was so beautiful, but, if it keeps retracting when the clown hosts it, it won't get any nourishment.
