Ok, so i have a really random decent size patch of GHA growing on my maxijett powerhead, weird thing is that's the only GHA that i have in my tank and nitrate and phosphates are 0 or close to 0 at least, but anyways my female clown has been eating away at it tonight.

Are they known algae eaters or is she just bored?

They are omnivores so plant matter is in their diet, but eating gha is new to me.

She could just be nipping at the pods that live inside of the GHA too.

Not sure if they eat gha, however my clowns always would peck at the nori in the tank when I would feed my tangs.

here's a quick pic of the GHA a little blurry but you get the idea, it's kind of thick too, still no idea why i have it there when i have no other gha in my tank, oh well, at least its a food source for my clown :D
