So now that I'm in the stages of going forward, and my tank is moving right along I'm starting to plan my tank out.

Most if not all of my fish that are in my tank are there to work. I know it sounds crazy but the clowns really don't have a job aside from my pure amusement. But what gets me to make this post is I'm seeking advice about clown fish. I'm really attracted to Australian Black Percula Clownfish. I know that there are particular rules to clowns but what I'm wanting to know is that if I get two Australian Black Percula Clownfish and put them in my 75 gal tank with Two Picasso Clownfish am I going to have any issues?

There's no way of telling. More than likely you'll have problems but you could get lucky n have them be peaceful. Only way to know is to kindly ask your clowns how they feel about a new pair... And tell the newcomers of the news. Lol

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It will be a gamble in a 75. Two mature females need a lot of territory to avoid issues with aggression. If you got them all as immature juveniles you might be able to pull it off, but you might not end up with 2 pairs.

As far as the Australian Clowns I suggest buying aquacultured over wild and if you can not get aquacultured go to a really good dealer that specializes in clown fish. Wild not probably treated and QT'd clown fish can come with so many diseases.

    Quarantined.

Looks at our sponsors iBluewater site and threads. They have some of the best specialty clowns around.

My lfs has an amazing qt period. when the get fish in they dont come to the floor for at least a week. The dose basic antibiotics, bring them in in lower salinity levels. I've seen their work and its pretty awesome. So I definitely trust them. As for wild fish I'm pretty much against it. I want salt water fish to evolve to a level where we can eventually have our own stuff that is still the same thing that is found in the ocean but grown from our own tanks and through our community.
