clown fish black marks?

    i have 2 clown fish and they have developed black marks on the them, why are they there are they okay?

    That is prob their color. are the like lines or blobs?

    as they mature they can get blobs and spots.

    Mine had little black spots the size of a scale or two sometimes.... I figured out they were burn/stings

    Have you recently added any new corals and/or have they recently started hosting a coral?

    Do you have any anemones?

    Aptaisia? Digitate hydroids?

    ... on mine they went away after about a week.
