Hi I just purchased 2 clown fishes for my 28 gallon nano cube. I would love to get a coral that they love but I don't want to get an anemone because I heard they sting other corals and move. What would be the next best coral for them that I can put in my tank?

    -Thx :drummer:

you could probably use xenia or frogspawn or maybe a torch.
Of course its up to each individual clown what they are willing to host.

I had a maroon that would roll in zoas.

what type of clown fish are they, if they are true or false percs ( Nemos or Nemo lookalikes) then the list is pretty long IME

    Hairy mushrooms
    Anthellia
    Leathers
    clove polyps

are 3 soft corals that I have had clown fish hosting in
and the above are easy beginners corals

You have to be careful with clowns hosting a coral other than a nem. It's usually hit or miss as to whether or not the coral "likes" the clown hosting it. Sometimes the hosting clown aggrevates the coral to death.
