Ok, I need some info on a clownfish, I would like one that would host a LTA, I already have a pair of clownfish in the tank occelaris. I was wondering if there were any clownfish that would readily host a LTA and not fight with the Occelaris because I know clowns fight often.

It's hit or miss with any clown choosing what it uses for a host. Tank breds make the chances of them using a nem as host even slimmer.

Clowns are best kept in sole pairs unless you have an uber big tank. They may start fine when juvs but as they grow the males will most likely fight for the female.

I have a pair of tank-bred Ocellaris and 3 BTA's in my tank. My clowns don't bother with my RBTA's (which I've had for months), which are huge, but when I got my smaller GBTA they immediately took to it in a day. They will host whatever they want, whenever they want, so it can be a waiting game.

I used to have an LTA (until the pump took its life) and my Clarke clown fish loved it. But I will caution you the Clare Clown Fish can be a pain! They are very aggressive. Mine attacks my hand anytime I put it in my tank, digs, and rearranges rock at will. He decides what fish are allowed in my tank and will bully the ones he does not like...so buyer be ware!
