Bad news, my wife just called and my clown died. :-(. Marlin did not eat for 3 days, and today my wife found him on the sand, the CUC was trying to drag his corpse behind a rock.
    He has been taken out.

So I started with a cycled tank, added a CUC, and 3 fish 2 clowns and a royal gramma. The RG disappeared behind a rock almost instantly and never came out even to eat, I'm sure he died. Now one of the clowns died.

Not sure what is wrong, my water seems right, was taking it slow, and now only one fish left.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Well that is a bummer, sorry. Very frustrating.

I would wait awhile as well. Royal gramma are pretty hardy once they get past acclimation, you might try one of those again.

Where are you getting your fish? A lfs might be selling you fish that have been in bad water or something and are starting to get sick when you get them. The stress from being caught and transported would make their immune system worse too.

That's the only way I can think of for you to find any cause other than bad luck.

The two that died came from the same LFS, they were tank raised and the store has a good rep. I'm going to leave the 1 clown solo for a week before adding anything. He does look lonely in there. A little 2" fish is 75g :)

I made the mistake when I got my first tank of adding to many fish at once and they all died like 2 hours later, but then I got my clowns from the LFS together and they are going strong till this day and my damsel which i thought woulda passed along time ago lol Good luck adding more fish.
