Clown Goby nipping.

    I guess I should have read up more on these little cuties. Some sites say reef safe but in the text which I missed they are nippers of SPS polyps.
    Unfortunately mine loves to nip like they said. I'm probably going to have to give the little guy away. If anyone is in the Dallas area and wants him let me know.
    I don't know why they would say reef safe if it's not reef safe.

    Try rolling up a newspaper and smacking its nose with it and say "No Nipping!"

    True......I heard that works really well but make sure to watch him after because he may get mad and try to run in the corner and pee.

    Hmm. Weird, I never knew some could nip. I have a green one and it actually lives inside one of my acros. I will have to keep an eye on him.

    They do that to clear an area on which to lay their eggs.

    Yeah, I read the thing about eggs. He sure looks like he's eating polyps though and the polyps on a couple acros haven't been out for days cuz he's always there playing in them and nipping them. Otherwise I really like the little guy... he's cute and has a unique personality.
