Well, careful what I wish for. I wanted my Clown to host one of my corals and a few days ago I got my wish! Unfortunately its taken quite a liking to my Goniopora. Of course the Gonio is now angry and won't come out fully with the Clown rubbing all over it. I know the Gonio also has a limited mortality rate so wanted to fully enjoy it before it may go away.

What is the chances that the Gonio will eventually die, or will the Clown possibly loose interest and try my other corals: Toadstool, Frogspawn, Leathers, etc?

Here's a pic & QT vid, I find it cute and funny all at once:

a clown will do what a clown will do. about a month or two ago, my female decided that her favorite thing in the world is to rub herself all over my duncans every waking minute of every day. i got fed up with never seeing one of my favorite corals so i have been randomly moving the coral or the rocks around it every time i did a water change. shes been out of there for over a week now.

however, all the moving and re-gluing may do more harm than good. i've never kept goniopora.

Your goni will perish as they are already harder to keep alive with out the clowns help. JMO

it's a shame as my gonio always looked great, even though it's time is limited. I'll have to see about swapping it out to save it's life, hmmmm

here's what it normally looks like:

It looked good before the clown. How long have you had it?

Yes it was doing amazingly good, always fully out and looked great. I've had it about 5 months or so. I was well aware of the limited lifespan that Gonio has but got it for free so thought I'd try my luck.

Indeed, a shame, my Clown just wants to help mine along, d'oh!

I'm going to attempt moving it or replacing it with an old shoe :)

I need to get a mini rolled up newspaper to pat it on the nose, bad Clown! The vid is even funnier to watch, confused nature at its best!
