Clown looks really bad..

    True lol, is it possible that the other was already a female? When i purchased them they were with proibably 5 others all the same size

    Yes possible.

    Also like humans, not every clown is going to like the opposite sex. For some unknown reason a female will reject a male.

    If physical damage is happening then you need to consider, will the larger dominate established female accept this new clown or do I have two females.

    How long have you had them? Judging by that pic neither one is female or male yet. Most clowns sold are very young, and have many years ahead of them before they will be mature enough to develop into either sex. But they will still set up the pecking order well before that :)

    Clowns mature sexually based on the hieracrchy, not on age for the most part. It takes a very short time for a male to become the dominate female should the dominate female become unavailable for whatever reason. This can take literally just a few months not years, or even close.

    Female become able to reproduce around age 1 1/2 - 2 years of age but they are females at a far younger age. A male may reproduce at a much younger age.
