So I have a male Ocellaris clown that's been getting these little white wormy looking things growing under its skin. they're hard to get a good picture of, but these might help. Last time I did a 4 minute freshwater dip and the worm oozed out in about 45 seconds, and fell to the bottom... that was a couple months ago.

Physical description is a single worm looking protrusion, translucent / near opaque. Approximate observed diameter (with water as a magnification) is maybe .75 - 1.00 mm and a length extending from the fish about 2-2.5mm.

The area it protrudes from is swollen, white, and has small red specks.

I'd like to know if there's a dip or reef safe medication I can use to treat this or do I have to QT the fish?

    Thanks mel!

The camera is a Nikon D5000 w/ the stock 18-55mm VR Nikor lens, tripod mounted, w/ flash.

Great camera, best in the price range for sure, IMHO. Canon's Exilm high sppeed cameras tho are awesome, but Nikon / Nikor make the best cameras and lenses in the consumer / prosumer category.
