So I have had these two clown fish for over a year now and they have been inseparable since day one. Now today she decided to hate her partner and he is forced into the corner of my tank! Is this normal, what can I do?

She is completely okay with the Six Line Wrasse and my cleaner shrimp but about every 5-10 min she will swim up to him and attack and swim back "home". Also she is roaming the tank, iv never seen her do this, she always stays in the anemone.

Here is a pic of them a few weeks ago (The GHA is now gone ;))

And she looks like a complete **tch! Its nuts how mean she looks.

Iv seen them twitch and barge at each other but the way she is acting now is out of the norm for them. The poor guy is nearly out of the water because of her.

actually they are probably pairing up. The female will attack the male and bet him up pretty good. It is a part of the mating ritual. My 2 black clowns did this a couple months ago and now my female is acting like she is going to lay eggs.

I wouldnt move the fish or do anything with them. He will be fine
