Clown shifting colors

    Ok so one of my clowns (what I'm thinking is the female) has started to shift color. The patch of orange between the first and second white band is turning black. I actually like it, it looks different. It's not hosting anything so I don't think it's from coral stings or anything. Here's a crappy phone pic. The punk wouldn't stay still long enough to get anything better.

    One of my mom's clowns is changing color too. Just like you described... an orange patch in between the first bars. When I saw it, I had no idea what was wrong so we tested water, checked salinity, all that jazz thinking it was a sign of stress. Nothing was wrong. It's odd. I know other fish change as they mature, I suppose a clown shouldn't be any different. :p Learn something new everyday with this hobby! ;D
