We'll my clown tang had died probably early this morning...
As for oberving him proir to this morning...
He was eating swimming freely and playing yesturday before the actinics went out.
Thus I didn't see any ich marks...only thing I really noticed on him was he was constantly eating buy it seemed like he wasn't having any waste, stomach of fish was bulging for the last few days.I also had him eating various diffrent diets which include baby brine shrimp frozen, nori soaked in garlic gaurd, live phytoplankton (dt's brand) and freeze dried cyclopeeze and spirulina flakes...

probably had internal parasites or a very bad blockage.

you need to provide your water parameters, for more help, I think you can find a set of questions to answer in the ASAP forum.

I'm thinking of hitting up the local fish store and brig them some sample of my water...
Maybe they can run a few test for me...
I've lost a bunch of fish 2 months ago but I think it was from a diffrent cause...I felt deja vu when I lost the clown...
When I lost the former fishes,I had 1 powder blue surgeon,1 goldrim sugeon, and 1 flagfin and 3 domono damsels...
How I lost these fish was basically an all tumatum...I had no skimmer and my tank had high nitrates and probably An amonia spike...

Best idea to test for everything! It may have just been the fish

how big is this tank, and how long has it been set up, also what kind of filtration? a wise purchase would be an API master saltwater kit before any more fish are brought home.

Ok I picked up a reef master test kit.
I tested for both nitrate and phosphate.
My test for the phos on the charts is the middle bar,as for nitrates I hit the 2 bar from the top so I'm doing ok.
Is there anything else you guys consider me testing for?
Also I've plugged in my uv sterilizer because it'll give me some stabilty if an amonia spike breaks out considering I really don't know what part of the night/morning the fish died...
Also I've emptied the collection cup and reidialed my skimmer to a little wetter skimming...I'm currently making a fresh batch of Ro water for a water change this thursday...
My salinity is steady at 1.023 and my temp is at 80.1
    Anything I'm missing...
