what else do you have in there ?
also remember "clown tangs" are like the "sohol" VERY much a bully and can inflect some pain in that tank of yours.

i'd rather try a blue jaw trigger' than a clown tang.

I love the tangs but sadly i had a "sohol" once and it was added last' and it "wreaked havock" in the tank,
Best of luck if you go for it , they are a gorgeous fish !

nemo bro your "pushing your luck"... lol....
'rule of thumb" 1 inch per 5 gallons... and I push this to "1 inch per 10 gallons"
and im in a 220 gal.

But even if you do "go for it" the clown tang can be "a BEAST".... only reason why i dont get one my self , im too afraid of having to chase him down and remove him or ..remving every thing else to accomidate "one fish"

I hope it works for you honeslty.. really if you decide. "watch that little crapper from hell"...lol , like a woman
    it's beautiful'.. but deadly !...lol

I agree Nemo' we all seem to love and admire the most beautful of the fish but seems their the ones the hardest to keep.

I always see those "angles" in the LFS and MAN , what a sight ! bust sadly they dont "fit in" with a closed reef system.

best of luck if you try it , i wish you all the luck!

i've got one in my 210 reef. he is currently in the "sick tank", due to ich issues, but am glad to report he is doing great!
i never had a problem with him bullying other fish. i even had a yellow with him, and had no problem.
feeding can be tricky, but mine seems to love grazing on the dried seaweed, you buy at the lfs.just rubberband it to a couple of rocks in the tank, and he'll do the rest.
i'm in no way disagreeing with the other posters advice, just telling you my experience.
good luck, and let us know what you decide.
