clown tang

    ok so once the 135 is set up and cycled......i want to put one in.

    i have a blue tang and a yellow tang already. (r.ip. powder blue-he got caught in my carpet anemone : /) i want to add a clown tang, red sea sailfin tang, and possibly anohter powder blue thats 5 tangs in a 135 is that too much? my neighbor has a 180, and has 9 tangs in that, so let me know. also if any one ahs a clown tang, what should i know?

    lovely tangs - aggresive tho, and from what i've they are short lived in the aquarium

    they are very short lived in the home aquarium and really noone knows why. Beautiful yes, good aquarium fish??? no IMO

    so will 5 tangs be too much?

    I personally wouldn't do 5 tangs but that's just me. Tangs (yes all of them) get stressed over 2 main things. Lack of free swimming area and food competition. They also need a ton of oxygen which is hard to produce in a tank that small.
