i just got a new percula clown today and its swimming motion seems somewhat spiratic(fast fin movement), unlike anything i have ever seen a clown do. when it stops moving its fins it sinks to the bottom and then chills there for a bit. my salt and water parameters are right where they need to be. anyone have ideas of what the problem is? did i get a fish that doesnt know how to swim lol?

He could just be acclimating to the new tank. Clown fish are weird mine swims upside down some times and he is perfectly fine.

Id give him a chance, more then likely the clownfish is still settling in from the acclimation. Just keep an eye on it. My clowns swim in odd ways sometimes too. :)
