    Greetings,
Have had the clown for about 7 months and the GBTA for about 6 months.
The clown was very small, maybe one inch when purchased/rescued from LFS....and now is just under 3 inches....and very healthy.:)
It has NEVER shown an interest in this GBTA....but, it does frollic around the Bubble coral, which is very large while opened up....it is kind of comical due to the fact that I believe the bubble coral feeders sometime sting and or tickle him...but he keeps playing around it regardless.
just curious..I thought at first it was because he was such a juvenile...
but he's such a clown, its hard to figure him out.:p
    Thanx ya'all...Have a great weekend TGIF !!

Is it a tank raised Perc ? If so its about as dumb as a post and will take up with anything rocks not excluded :) I have actually seen theses stupid clowns host on a rock with huge bubble algae on it. The bubble coral is not harming him . he may wind up hosting in that until he kills it .. In the last yr I lost a huge established and thriving elegance from the pair of stupid clowns bitting it and poking it to try and move it then they went into out huge gigias clam they just finished killing that this week I'll get the male out in the next day r two and Bogie can have the Fish .. I have never liked or had a use for clown fish ..

I had a maroon clown that I went out and bought a rbta, he did not like it. Bought a lta, did not go in. I gave the clown to my mom so I could get a pair of black clowns. After about a week of being in my mom's tank, the clown went into all her anenomes, which are 2 condys and a rock anenome. So there is no telling what a clown will do. I was really mad that it did not go into the good anenomes I got for it.

The hosting thing can go either way with tank raised clowns. My maroon went for the condy pretty quickly, even though they don't usually host condys. I lucked out. Just depends on the fishy.

Watching omarD's tank, his Maroons like the very large mushroom coral in the center left of his tank. Take a look at the pics. It was very amusing.
