I noticed my Oscellaris Clown has his mouth on my mushroom. I can see he is opening his mouth up and it looks like some type of cut on his left side next to his mouth. Look carefully at the pics.
    Thanks,
    Adam

I see his mouth, but don't see a cut, at least not clearly. Is he eating? Swimming? or just hanging out on the mushrooms?

He is hanging on the mushroom, swimming wound there. I threw food in and I did not see him eat. He used to always swim on the Coral Elegance and now he is not. I only have a point and shoot camera. Do most of these cuts usually heal. Maybe it is preventing him from eating?

Looks like he is hosting the shrooms. I can't see a cut. But clowns will often times "mouth" whatever it is that they want to host

When his mouth was closed I can see some little cut opening on the side of his mouth. Do these things usually heal? I have no QT Hopefully he starts to eat again

As long as the tank has prestine water, it can get better. My hippo lost almost all of one of its pectoral fins and is healing nicely now. But if its not eating that is not a good sign by any means. You may have to set-up a HT to improve its chances.
Just out of curiosity, how long have you had the clown?

I ahve had the clown about a year. I am going to hope he gets better in the main tank since all water params are good. If I do a QT I would have to change water every other day and it is still not as good as your main

The cut looks like a big dimple next to his mouth
