    Dear all --

I've had my 30 gallon reef tank with 135W of PC lighting for just about a year now, and I finally felt it was stable enough to support an anemone. All the water params are perfect. I've *always* wanted an anemone.

My tank has had 2 black and white clownfish (one large female, one medium sized male) since the day the initial cycling finished. Both were tank raised (not wild-caught).

I bought a green bubble tip anemone, put it in the tank, and it instantly thrived.

LITERALLY within the first hour, the large female clownfish was scoping it out. LITERALLY the next night, the clown was fully hosting in it. I *never* thought this would happen, given that the probability is low, and I'd been told tank raised clowns almost never host.

Just figured I'd share it with you guys, I'm living the dream watching my clown go crazy in this anemone. It's cute because the clown (large) and the anemone (decently small) are just about the same size. She doesn't have much room to move around, but she sits there and wiggles around and goes crazy. At first I worried it might be too violent for the anemone, but it's been a few days now and the anemone is still looking perfect (nice bubble tips, great color, all of the tips inflate nicely during the day).

I'll post pictures as soon as possible, I promise!

Thanks to everyone on 3reef for answering all of my questions and supporting me this past year. I feel like now I really know my stuff regarding saltwater tanks because of you guys (and gals).

    Have a nice day!
