Could you guys give me a list of anemones for my clownfish? My wife keeps bugging me to get one, but I'm not sure what anemones create/have the relationship with clownfish. Thanks.

BTW my local LFS wants $140 bucks for a bubble tip anemone. Ain't that too much?

Clownfish that is extremely high for a bubble tipped, at least in this part of the country. We normally see them for about 50 bucks or so...

If you have any powerheads in the tank I would think twice about adding an anemone. They roam where they please ....... mine made its way to the powerhead and quickly became anemone spaghetti. Also consider they will "nuke" your tank should they die.

    JMO ...... good luck!

Plus you need to consider if you're even equipped to take care of an anemone. Keep in mind they are notorious for being pretty difficult to care for. Without proper lighting and pristine water parameters, it will be a waste of money.

I paid about 30 for my bta. it was brownish orange. I just recently traded it in because it was stinging my corals and almost killed 2. Think twice before getting one. Unless I guess you have a big tank. My 12gal nano didn't have much room to spare.... It hosted a mated pair of false percs.....As you can see in my avatar pic....
