    A grounding probe is what you're gonna need. You can get one from any online stores, and maybe a LFS.

    ok well this is getting to be quite complicated i think i'll start a new thread on stray voltage if i cant first research it and get an answer. i'm not so good with electricty and i think this probe thing is out of my skill set

    ground probes are easy:

    Titanium Ground Probe

    Just stick it in the water, and plug it in a grounded outlet.
