I have a pair of Oscellaris Clowns and just wanted to know if they can harm at all the Elegance coral by hosting in it? Has anybody else seen this?

Yes, they will harm it. We had a pair that pretty much killed ours by nuzzling it too much.

They will kill it sooner or later I had a mated pair to take up in my perfectly and growing elegance after over a yr and they as clowns will do to anemones wanted it to relocate to a spot they preferred and they nipped and picked it to death then took up in out gigas clam and I mean literally in the clam and after a yr they killed that . You could not give me enough money to have a dumb A&& clown fish I hate the stupid species really . These two where trap smart and about that time I wanted them out I got laid up and they had a free run for 8 months one is dead now :) One more to go.

Supposedly they are not hardy corals anyway. So I'll just take a chance that it lives. Right now it seems good.

I'm starting to hate my clowns as well, i have a pair of true percs in the 58 and a pair of aussie b&w in the 24g and in both tanks their the first ones to come up and bite the crap outta you when you try to do anything

I've never had a problem keeping tem people just do not understand how to host them.. And what they require . Mine was huge and getting larger opend fully daily for over a yr and then the clowns where added and they tore it up.

I think the best place to keep any clown is a toilet with hand on flush lever ..
