    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Typically the female needs to be around 2 years of age. The male will begin to vigorously begin to clean an area such as rock base in anticipation of the female laying eggs. The female will also display a swollen abdomen.

    From what I can tell from the image your clowns look to be snuggling which is very common.
