Haha does that mean having 100% parasite free livestock is nearly impossible?

No not impossible. If you ever get a chance to really examine starfish or urchins check it out, they are crawling with parasites. There are parasites for ornamental shrimp, corals, just about everything has it's own little ecosystem of parasites. Snails too.

Interesting. I'll have to look at my urchin really closely and see what he's got crawling on him!

Look right around the oral opening, you should be able to see little worms.

This is why I am picky about my suchi. Only raw tuna for me and that is only because I can not resist it.

Holy cow I can see them!! That's so weird, I had no idea. It's kind of gross

I have jungle medicated food I tried to feed the fish, only the fox face likes it. So, do you think soaking their NLS in a medication called metro plus will help? It's pretty much just metro powder I think

Sorry I can not help with the medication, it's been so long since I treated anything with medication. Better you get that information from someone that has done in the last decade :shocked2: I am more of a coral and invert hobbyist than fish. Last time I bought fish was roughly 6-7 years ago.

I know you said you haven't dealt with a sick fish for years but I thought I'd try you with this. Do you think it's possible that the clowns had the parasites all along? For the 7 and 10 months I've had them?

I don't understand how they wouldn't have been dead by now, those parasites know what they're doing I guess.

When I bought angelfish in freshwater, a bunch had internal worms and were dead in a month
